Hustle Healthy is exactly what it sounds like.
It provides a guide for you to hustle healthy.
But what is “Hustle…”
To me hustling is pursuing your passion to the point where it hurts a little bit.
Hustling is how you get ahead in this world.
It has a lot of different definitions, but to me it means applying your entrepreneurs skills towards creating a difference in your life and the lives of others, even if it means doing far more than what is typical.
Ultimately, we all want to create a happy, fulfilled, financially stable, fun life and leave behind an amazing legacy. This is why I “hustle,” and it’s probably not far off from why you hustle.
The word hustle has gotten a bad wrap as it’s gotten more popular in recent years.
People like Gary Vaynerchuk have brought the word and the lifestyle to the forefront of our society (specifically younger generations).
Things are now changing at an exponential rate. It’s a lot to handle, but I think there is an extremely bright light at the end of the tunnel.
No longer is it considered “irresponsible” to take a few years off after high school instead of going to college. No longer is it bad to opt out of formal education all together.
No longer do we have to go to school for 4+ years to get a degree in a specific subject, get a job (or four), then live out the rest of our lives building someone else’s business and planning for retirement.
Please understand I am not talking down to this concept. In fact, it will always exist to some extent. It is an essential part of our society.
But, the rise of entrepreneurship and ‘the hustle’ seem to be taking over and proving to be a strong contender in the effort to restore faith in our future.
If you take a look around, there are plenty of things that are headed in the right direction (never want to focus on the negative), but there are also plenty of aspects of our world that are less than ideal.
Take health for example. I don’t need to throw statistics at you to prove that things are going awry. It is very apparent simply by looking around you. You may have even experienced it yourself (as I have).
- Brain fog
- Prescription drugs
- Sleep deprivation
- Nutrient-deficient, processed foods
- Sugar epidemic
These aren’t normal, and something is off.
In fact, roughly 1% of Americans are considered “Healthy,”
Let me say that again for dramatic affect…
1% of Americans are considered “Healthy,”
We’ve strayed SO far away from how our body’s, minds, and spirits are supposed to exist. It’s truly scary if you stop and look at the facts.
But, I am not here to ruin your day. I am here to inform and provide a plan of action.
There Is No Need to Panic.
On the other hand, things are changing and entrepreneurs are seeing an apparent problem worth solving.
In fact, if you are reading this and want to start a business, but have no clue where to start. Strongly consider the pursuing a solution to this problem as it holds more importance than any.
If we continue down this path, we will have 30 year-olds with cancer and dementia.
There are 10 year-old kids with the arteries of 40 years old adults. We will become zombie-like and our evolution will come to a skreetching hault.
We can’t afford to pay our bills as a country simply due to our exponentially increasing rate of disease.
Okay okay okay….sorry, sometimes I get a little too serious.
Back to the positive.
Companies are now being built using a ‘Triple Bottom Line‘ approach as opposed to a “as long as we are profiting” approach.
This makes the well-being of the end consumer, the employee and the environment the M.O., instead of purely profit. This translates to people, business, and companies doing things for the right reasons. This is already a huge step in the right direction.
Although there are still plenty of bad apples in the fruit basket, there seems to be an exciting shift unfolding in front of us.
So what’s the point of Hustle Healthy? Where does it fit in?
I was somewhere between 2 and 3 and slowly worked my way up to 6 in only a few months. Ever since then I have been creeping farther into the 8 and 9 range.
This is an amazing place to be, and I want you to get there too.
Where do you think you stand?
As entrepreneurs and hustlers, more often than not, we put our health fairly low on the priority list.
This is typically due to our excitement we experience while working on our passion typically driven by the need to survive (make it) and eventually thrive financially in this world.
In order for us to be creative, motivated, productive, efficient, and quick, we must live in the 4th category. Our brain is an amazing tool (perhaps the most complex in the universe), but we hardly know how to take care of it.
Hustle Healthy was created to give entrepreneurs the path towards a thriving state. It guides you to elite health, focus, and fitness, which we all stray so far from nowadays.
