Brain Fog Treatment
Sep 22, 2017
By now you probably know what brain fog is and what causes it. So what can we do to get rid of it? Well, the trickiest part is finding out what is causing it for you. There are tons of things that can create mental fog. This is where you will need to do a little digging and experimenting.
Start With The Obvious
Are you consuming moldy food
Are you getting the right sleep
Are you exercising daily
Are you consuming a nutrient-rich diet
Are you avoiding harsh food (allergies)
Are you eliminating stress
Are you meditating every day
Are you getting enough sun exposure and eliminating blue light
Are you practicing healthy lifestyle habits and eliminating the bad ones
Once you have checked off all of these, and you are still experiencing mental fog, it’s time to get serious.
Let’s Get Real
It is time to run some experiments on our body to find out what it doesn’t like. The most common cause for mental fog that I have come across, is gluten. Don’t run away...stick with me here.
So many of us have let bread and gluten take control over our cravings and our diet. We are obsessed with pizza, sandwiches, burgers, breakfast cereals, bagels, and bread. And why wouldn’t we be, it tastes AMAZING and makes us feel really happy. This is because of the powerful effect it has on our brain.
You Can’t Handle The Truth
Just kidding, you can. Truth is, gluten (especially the way it is processed today) causes some sort of irritation in everyone's gut. It is not just people who have Celiac disease or gluten sensitivities that it effects.
We ALL have a little bit of gluten sensitivity. That is because it scratches up our small intestine (for lack of a more scientific description) and causes impermeability. When these small holes are created, it starts to expose our gut to the rest of our body. This means things that aren’t supposed to get out, get out (a chunk of bread or burger for example).
Some people's guts are really good at restoring the porous walls of our intestines, and some aren’t. Some people only eat a little bit of gluten, allowing their guts to heal before we notice a difference anywhere else (the brain).
Brain Fog Treatment
Inside my FREE course [3 Keys To Clearing Up Your Foggy Brain] I will show you how to perform the elimination diet with gluten and find out exactly how it is affecting your brain and body.
From there you will know if you can continue eating moderate amounts of gluten, or if you need to cut it out almost completely. After that, you can continue to experiment and learn about your body to achieve a clear and focused mind.
